About this objectGirl's dress; a red and white, short-sleeved sailor dress to fit a toddler. The dress was apparently store-bought, but the embroidered detail was completed by hand. The main body of the frock is white with red detail at the collar, sleeves and pockets. The embroidery consists of fish on the pockets and anchors and birds on the bodice and collar.
Purchased and embroidered in the 1950s by Mrs Dawn Jones for one of her three daughters, Pamela, Zelda and Vivki.
